Principal Janice Schwarze was named Principal of the Year for DuPage region high schools. (via Downers Grove District 99 )
DOWNERS GROVE, IL Downers Grove North Principal Janice Schwarze has been named the DuPage Region High School Principal of the Year by the Illinois Principals Association. The honor puts Schwarze in the running for the statewide Illinois High School Principal of the Year.
Schwarze, who has been principal of Downers North for five years, is set to retire in June. Schwarze has also worked as Associate Principal of Curriculum & Instruction at Downers Grove North High School and as an English teacher and department chair at Downers Grove South High School.
