Chet Hanks, son of actor Tom Hanks, is enmeshed in an ugly dispute in Texas with an ex-girlfriend who was granted a temporary protective order against him on Tuesday, court documents in Fort Bend County show. The order, signed by the county district court clerk, also suspends Hanks handgun license under Texas Family Court law.  It s the latest development in an escalating drama involving dueling sworn allegations of violence, theft, fights, threats with a weapon and racial slurs, dating back to October 2020, and mostly taking place in January in Sugar Land, Texas, where the couple have a home.
