Vandalism forces Duluth to reopen part of Skyline Parkway to cars early

In this is why we can t have nice things news, a portion of Skyline Parkway in Duluth has reopened to vehicles earlier than planned after continued vandalism.
West Skyline Parkway and Hank Jensen Drive from Two Ponds to Enger Park Golf Course were supposed to remain closed until June 1 as a way to give pedestrians and bicyclists more space.
But due to continued issues of barricades and sandbags being thrown off of Skyline Parkway, the City has made the decision to reopen this portion of Skyline ahead of the June 1 reopening, the city said in a news release.
