Incheon Port Authority Opens New Route to Malaysia
Incheon Port Authority (IPA) announced this week that the North China Malaysia eXpress (NCX) service was launched on Feb. 24 to connect Korea, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
The first ship deployed for the NCX service is XPress Kailash, a container ship registered in Singapore. It entered the Hanjin Incheon Container Terminal (HJIT) at Incheon New Port on Feb. 24. A total of five shipping companies will operate four 2,100 TEU ships on this new shipping line to offer service once a week. The ships will make a call at Incheon, Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Singapore, Port Klang, Shenzhen and Incheon.
