Operation of around 60 Inland Water Transport ferries and ferry services in four districts of Assam have been suspended due to the potential threat posed by Cyclone Remal. The suspension is based on IMD data anticipating heavy rainfall. Ferry services will resume on Wednesday after the threat subsides.
