台灣政經 facebook comment 大會主席李鍾熙表示，今年亞洲生技大會主題為「疫情中生技產業再出發」，共邀請上百位講者，演講主題包含疫情控制、先進治療方法、數位健康及區域投資合作等，針對近期在疫情衝擊下，找到新發展方向。 另外，歐、美、亞、澳有超過 500 家廠商，參與線上展覽與公司展望說明會；一對一媒合會約有 500 間公司報名參與，並已安排超過 2000 場次。 吳忠勳也說，生技產業涵蓋四大領域，分別為製藥、醫療器材、應用生技及健康福祉，據統計，2020 年生技產業產值為 6011 億元，其中醫材雙位數成長，製藥、應用生技與健康福祉也有 3-5% 年增幅。 吳忠勳指出，台灣 2007 年發布生技新藥產業發展條例，鼓勵廠商投入生技新藥開發，導引資金及技術到生技新藥公司，並針對新藥公司提供技術研發、人才培訓、法人股東等方面
