“Hoping for a successful awakening for another set of assignments! Else, it will forever stay there as India's lunar ambassador,” ISRO said, announcing that its moon rover was set into Sleep mode.
The successful moon landing on August 23 has come as a booster shot for the officials of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), which is now gearing up for a mission to the Sun.
ISRO Chairman S Somanath said that Chandrayaan-3 is the result of work done by thousands of engineers, scientists, industries, and support teams across ISRO and other institutions.
