So Sae-bom has left the apartment complex and drained of antibodies. I m not sure a person can actually be drained of antibodies. Our bodies make more of them all the time. Of course if I really want to be pedantic, it shouldn t be possible for a virus to be transmitted both by a faulty drug and also bite marks. "Happiness - Drama" ends more-or-less the same way it began, with some of the worldbuilding making sense, other worldbuilding not so much, with still more of it being too vague to tell, Happiness - Drama, Ahn Gil-ho, Han Hyo-joo, Han Sang-woon, Jo Woo-jin, Kang Ji-eun-I, Lee Joon-hyuk-I, Park Hyung-sik, Park Joo-hee
So Andrew (played by Lee Joo-seung) is the guy who insists on wearing a mask all the time, owing to personal vanity regarding a scar. Despite Andrew s behavior being suspicious, he s one of the few characters that doesn t start fights for petty reasons, and has thus appeared mostly sympathetic until now. Anyway, it turns out Andrew is a serial killer. It s a testament to the sheer stupidity of most of the cast that his plan worked so well, Happiness - Drama, Ahn Gil-ho, Han Hyo-joo, Han Sang-woon, Jo Woo-jin, Kang Ji-eun-I, Lee Joo-seung, Lee Joon-hyuk-I, Park Hyung-sik, Park Joo-hee
There s little action this episode, as the disastrous results of Sae-bom s ad-hoc madness rabies test has killed the mood for trying to identify infected people. Consequently, the conflict turns passive-aggressive, with people skulking around outside Se-hoon s door demanding he hand out more of his food. Yet even this conflict is anticlimatically resolved with an apologetic note saying people can take whatever food they want, Happiness - Drama, Ahn Gil-ho, Han Hyo-joo, Han Sang-woon, Jo Woo-jin, Kang Ji-eun-I, Lee Joon-hyuk-I, Park Hyung-sik, Park Joo-hee
With inaugural ratings of 3.571% "Artificial City" is doing.OK in its initial domestic ratings. The much anticipated drama has had a much more ambiguous international distribution schedule, with the matriarchal corporate thriller only just recently being picked up by Rakuten Viki, where it still isn t quite available to watch. That s no fun for Soo Ae s international fans at all- although it s been so long since Soo Ae appeared in a drama the relevant rights holders might not have realized she still had international fans, Artificial City, Jeon Chang-geun, Kim Kang-woo, Kim Mi-sook, Lee E-dam, Lee Hak-joo, Son Se-dong, Song Young-chang, Soo Ae
A brief opening montage summarizes the five year courtship of our lead characters. Apparently they started dating in high school. Ever since then Yeon-soo would fish for clear statements from Woong that he liked her, from which he demurred, instead only committing to specific actions that he would only want to do if he really liked her. The break-up itself is non-committal, with Yeon-soo motivated in some abstract way that wasn t clear to me, Our Beloved Summer, Ahn Dong-goo, Choi Wooshik, Kim Da-mi, Kim Sung-cheol, Kim Yoon-jin-I, Lee Na-eun-I, Park Jin-joo, Park Won-sang, Roh Jeong-eui
