In 2013, she joined the Peace Boat’s around-the-world cruise to meet people in various places and spoke about her experiences at ports of call. The voyage strengthened her desire to abolish nuclear weapons. She thought, “There is a precious daily life under each roof.”
HIROSHIMA The Hiroshima District Court on Oct. 26 dismissed a damages lawsuit filed by a woman against her father who sexually abused her when she was a child, saying that the statute of limitations had expired.
