Police received a call about the incident around 10:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27. Authorities say the crash happened in the 1600 block of West Pembroke Avenue.
44-year-old Anthony Garrett was arrested and charged with one count each of Involuntary Manslaughter, Felony Hit and Run, Obstruction of Justice, Driving without a License, and No Insurance.
Around 9:07 p.m., officials received a call in reference to a pedestrian crash that had just occurred in the area of West Pembroke Avenue and G Street.
