A decade after losing its one-time route to Reagan National Airport, San Diego is among the candidates for five new nonstop routes, thanks to new legislation President Biden is poised to sign.
San Diego International Airport Tuesday welcomed its newest airline, Breeze Airways, and its first local nonstop flight from North Carolina via Raleigh-Durham International Airport to SAN.
Beginning April 30, the low-cost carrier will offer flights to Cincinnati, Ohio; Jacksonville, Florida; Norfolk, Virginia; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania all of which are new routes for SAN.
