Good morning, toni. A lot of detectives on the scene, continuing the investigation here. Three people fatal liver shot. The nypd is questioning one person. The shooting happening around 2 00 this morning inside the Raymond Ingersoll houses just after myrtle avenue, and the shoot the happen in the walkways around the complex. Police say a 43yearold man and 39yearold man, both shot in the head pronounced dead at the scene. A 76yearold man was taken to the hospital earlier this morning with the gun shot wound to the stomach, and he later died. It spoke to the young man who lives at the complex, and he said it can be dangerous out here. Something happened up here, and they came down here. Reporter are you concerned about this . Of course. I was told it was in excess of 1,000 feet of track damaged, significantly damaged, third rail, regular rail, ties, all of that. Reporter back to a live picture. 1,000 feet of track. That has to be repaired. Im told that two switches have to be replaced. All of that, the railroad is hoping to have done by 4 00, 5 00 tonight roughly. If that is not done, im told they will revert to the plan that they had in effect for the morning rush hour and they will reopen the main line one track at least to get trains out of new york city to points east. Again, that is if they dont get all of this work done in time for the evening rush hour. Again, they are crossing their fingers.
