Five people have been assessed by paramedics following a two-vehicle crash that blocked the Bruce Highway at Hampden.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the five people were able to climb out of the vehicles involved in the crash at the intersection of Marian-Hampden Rd at 9.34am.
He said all five patients were in a stable condition and had not suffered serious injuries.
The QAS spokesman said a man was taken to Mackay Base Hospital with an ankle injury.
Another two people were being treated for neck and pelvic injuries and were expected to be taken to hospital.
