Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro vs Hammerhead True Wireless: Which should you buy?

Case has less battery life If you know Razer, you know that the company s pedigree has always been in gaming peripherals, with headphones being part of that lineup. Earbuds were also a thing for the company, though true wireless earbuds were a different animal altogether. The main reason why was because of latency and connection stability. Those are still major considerations for both of these models, but the differences between them are about the various elements related to design, features, and performance. Razer Hammerhead True Wirless Earbuds Review: Affordable, Durable and Packed with Features

16 December 2020, 4:16 pm EST By Razer has introduced its first true wireless earbuds earlier this year. The Hammerhead True Wireless is an affordable accessory as it is sold in retail for only $100. It offers an audio latency that is as low as 60ms. However, they key issue was the battery life. In late 2019, four hours on a charge won t give you a full day s use and in 2020, it is near the bottom of the bin. With the new Pro version of the True Wireless earbuds, Razer has since updated its design and added a lot of new features that almost make the more expensive version a worthy AirPods alternative.

Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Pro review

Billy Steele/Engadget Aesthetically, the Hammerhead True Wireless Pro are similar to the Hammerhead earbuds that debuted in 2019. Razer kept the AirPod-like stickbud design, along with the company’s signature black-and-green color scheme. The biggest difference is that the Hammerhead Pro employs a collection of silicone ear tips where the original model was just plastic, not unlike AirPods. There are three sizes of “SmoothComfort” black tips with a “softer, smoother finish,” according to the company, plus three sizes of “SecureSeal” tips that have a “more rigid, grippier” exterior. Lastly, Razer threw in one set of “Comply” foam ear tips that expand in your ear canal for better passive noise isolation.
