The zookeeper was mauled to death by one of the tigers inside the enclosure. It is not known how. The park was full of holiday visitors, and several posted photos of the Air Ambulance Landing nearby. The park was shortly close by Zoo Officials who later handed out a short statement which said, this appears to have been a Freak Accident, at no point during the incident did any animals escaped their enclosures, and at no point was Public Safety affect it in any way.
