Even though he is Black, Henderson said some of his Black patients remain wary of the vaccines.
“It’s challenging for me as a Black physician to convince my patients to get the vaccine,” Henderson said.
“Most of my patients trust me,” he said. “Some of my patients, they still have a lot of issues. I’m a physician and part of the system. So they still have the distrust … That’s not easy.”

Harrisburg activist not guilty of disorderly conduct after police pepper sprayed people in her yard

A judge Tuesday found a Harrisburg community activist not guilty of disorderly conduct in connection with a noise complaint last year in her back yard that ended with officers putting handcuffs on her and dousing her friends in pepper spray.
Magisterial District Judge David O’Leary made the ruling after a 1 p.m. trial in his courtroom after testimony from the Harrisburg police officer and an attorney representing Dr. Kimeka Campbell, who has a PhD in adult and continuing education and teaching and administration. Campbell is a director at Hamilton Health Center and a co-founder of the Young Professionals of Color in Harrisburg.
