Mt. Juliet hopes to move forward in the coming weeks on park space development plans at three locations.
Mundy Park
Three new tennis courts, four pickleball courts and an expanded playground are part of the upgrades to Mundy Park on Mt. Juliet’s south end near the Providence area, the city’s Parks Director Rocky Lee said. About 60 additional parking spaces are also planned.
The upgrades will service residents on Mt. Juliet’s south side that Mt. Juliet City Commissioner Jennifer Milele has advocated for.
“I honestly wish Mundy was bigger for more amenities, but we are limited on space there,” Milele said.
