Sheriff: Deputy assaulted by prisoner at Hamilton County Jail

CINCINNATI â A sheriffâs deputy was assaulted by a prisoner at the Hamilton County Justice Center on Thursday, according to a news release put out by the sheriffâs office.
The deputy was treated at University Hospital and released.
Information regarding the extent of the deputyâs injuries was not given.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriffâs Office.

SYCAMORE TOWNSHIP, Ohio â A Hamilton County Sheriff s deputy was checking on what he thought was an abandoned vehicle in a wooded area Saturday night, but his quick action might have saved a womanâs life.
Newly-released body camera footage shows the life-saving efforts of the deputy, who discovered the woman passed out and having a medical emergency behind the wheel of her burning car.
