positive news here today in doha. 113 people landing here from afghanistan. they were given permission by the taliban. we re learning more how they got here. according to a source familiar with the situation, the qataris set up a safety corridor for these individuals to get to afghanistan s biggest airport, the hamed karzai international airport and got on the flight and fly here to doha. now the individuals are here, they re going to take corona tests and get food. once processed, they re free to return to their home countries. the citizens are americans, germans, british and ukrainians. also today according to the wall street journal, americans stuck in northern afghanistan were told to come to the airport for this flight. but it s unclear how many were able to make the journey. that s why we may see future flights like the one earlier
