Dubai-Al Ain Road Improvement Project reaches 60 percent completion rate DUBAI, 20th February, 2021 (WAM) The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the AED2 billion improvement project to widen the Dubai-Al Ain Road has reached a completion rate of 60 percent. The project is aligned with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai’s vision for the emirate for the next 50 years to meet the needs of urban development and population growth across the Emirate. The Dubai-Al Ain Road Improvement Project will ensure a smooth traffic flow and enhance the links with key roads in the Emirate namely Ras Al Khor Road, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road and the Emirates Road. It will also serve the existing and future development projects on both sides of the Dubai-Al Ain Road.

RTA completes 475-m long new cyclists bridge in Dubai

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said work has been fully completed on a 475-m-long bridge for pedestrians and cyclists crossing over Ras Al Khor Road (Dubai-Hatta). It has a width of 5 m (3 m for bikers and 2 m for pedestrians).

DON T MISS: Al Khawaneej Road Improvement Project includes the construction of three intersections, and service roads extending 23km along Al Khawaneej and Al Amardi Roads. Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, said the project improves vertical roads linking with the Emirates Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road up to the Airport Street.
