River Grove Park entrance road to be stabilized, resurfaced Written by Bruce Olson Published: 14 December 2020
Earlier in the year when the Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Parks Committee approved resurfacing the River Grove Park entrance road between Hamblen Road and the park’s facilities area, it authorized funding to cover the cost of routine asphalt resurfacing as has been done over the years since the road was built.
However, when the committee met Dec. 3 for its last meeting of the year, it learned that time has taken its toll on the heavily trafficked roadbed and that more extensive work is needed than just fixing its surface.
