SHARJAH, 10th February, 2022 (WAM) The Energy Transmission Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) revealed its strategic plan for the development of energy transmission and distribution projects for 2022.
The plan includes the implementation of two power transmission stations voltage of 220 kV, 1 station of 132 kV, and 11 stations of 33 kV, in addition to a number of projects for improving and developing networks and upgrading stations, at an estimated cost of more than AED 925 million.

SHARJAH, 10th January 2022 (WAM) - Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority's (SEWA’s) Energy Transmission Department has announced the completion and operation of nine power transmission stations, as well as a number of development projects and network modifications, totaling more than AED480.8 million, in 2021.
The implementation of the networks came in accordance with the directives of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to better serve Sharjah's people.
