During her life Margaret worked for Textile Mouldings on Exchange Street in Accrington for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed helping out at The Women’s Centre and also painting. A much loved daughter of the late May and Jim Rothera, a dear sister of the late Tony and David and also a dear sister in law of Anne and aunty to Michele, Wendy, Phil and Louise. A private funeral service will be held for family and invited close friends only. Margaret Baldwin of Fern Avenue, Oswaldtwistle died peacefully on April 10, aged 95 years. During her life Margaret worked as a police officer, an Office Manager for Boythorpe Crop Stores, as well as owning a Greengrocers for many years too. In her spare time and during her retirement she enjoyed knitting, dressmaking and watching TV, her favourite programmes included Songs Of Praise and Countryfile, she also loved tending her garden, but most of all she loved spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and also going on family holidays. She was also a member of St Paul’s Church in Oswaldtwistle, their Mother’s Union and the RSPB.
