Tartu's Vanemuine Theater is set to begin its 153rd season on August 27, with a series of events in the city center including concerts and other special performances. Visitors can also take part in a quiz, explore the theater behind the scenes, and try their hand at several different arts and crafts.
This year's Rally Estonia got off to an electrifying start during the opening ceremony which took place at Tartu's Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats) on Thursday and featured live performances by some of Estonia's top artists.
In an interview ahead of Rally Estonia, top Estonian driver Ott Tänak spoke positively about the road conditions he had experienced during the short testing period. Tänak added that, although he would love to win in front of a home crowd, his main focus was to finish the race without too much stress. The Estonian rally ace also discussed the impact of Rally Estonia on his body and his views on the proposed changes to the Great Britain stage of the championship.
