A mixed-use project on Main Street in Buzzards Bay being constructed in two phases has sought approval for its second phase, which involves building 12 duplex townhouses to the rear
A proposed remodel of the Intergas fueling station at 6 and 10 North Main Street received unanimous approval from the Falmouth Planning Board on December 14.
Efforts to construct a new mixed-use development in Buzzards Bay can move forward now, after approval was given to install two underground fuel storage tanks.
The project had been held up because of concerns over where the tanks would be located on the property.
The project was addressed by the Bourne Board of Selectmen during its remote meeting on Tuesday, January 5. An application was submitted to the board to approve installation of two underground fuel tanks, each holding 15,000 gallons.
One tank would hold 10,000 gallons of regular gasoline and 5,000 gallons of super gasoline. The other tank would hold 10,000 gallons of regular gasoline and 5,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
