Show Transcript Good afternoon, I m meteorologist Haley Lapointe. Here s an update on your forecast temperatures mainly in the fifties from the Lakes region in north, but some sixties down through the Merrimack Valley with a blend of sun and clouds, more clouds to the north and there also will be some scattered showers moving through to partly cloudy skies in central and southern New Hampshire through the remainder of the day. Here, wind speeds pick up. They ll be between about 10 to 15 MPH straight out of the west today and there you go there. The spotty showers that will roam later on this afternoon. It s possible even southern areas could see a brief Sprinkle, but these are super hit or miss. Not everybody gets them. The winds coming off of the cool atlantic ocean, so only getting into the fifties there, some inland areas into the sixties will be cloudy with scattered showers moving through this morning and then another round later on in the day. So we ve had some beneficial down boards moving through primarily central and southern New Hampshire will probably have a few more hours of it in the morning. Now a break in the action were mostly cloudy temperatures in the sixties this afternoon. Only in the fifties though, right at the coast, we will see another round of showers after this break as we get into the early afternoon here, maybe even some peaks of sun, but here s the second batch that s going to move through later on this evening. Could even be some rumbles of thunder with some of these downpours that come through. Certainly a lot of benefits to having this rainfall moving through today and over the coming days it lowers the pollen level. For one thing, we re down in the medium category over the next couple of days because of the rain helping

Show Transcript Good afternoon. I m meteorologist Haley Lapointe. Here s an update on your forecast. The winds whipping today gus over 30 MPH. So we have a red flag warning that s been posted for central and southern New Hampshire because the winds can easily spread any brush fires. We still have a lot of dry ground out there and overall we haven t had a lot of rain so easily. These brush fires can become large given how strong these winds are already. We ve seen gusts over 30 MPH. Could be a few that get to 40 40 plus as we go through the afternoon this evening, the winds diminish some as we go through. The overnight gusts will be between say 15 to 20 MPH and finally it s more breezy on Tuesday than windy and gusty like today. Today also will be dry. So what that means is the pollen counts are high, particularly l m junip
