The African National Congress (ANC) has condemned the comments of businessman, James Motlatsi, who said that ANC members who wanted Cyril Ramaphosa to resign were criminals.
The panel, which handed its report to the National Assembly Speaker on Wednesday, said that in light of the information placed before it, it concluded that on the face of it, the president may have violated the Constitution.
The panel on Wednesday handed its report to Speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula at Parliament. But its findings remain unknown. President Cyril Ramaphosa’s response to the panel has, however, been leaked following the handover.
