The African Action Congress (AAC) in Lagos has promised to create 500,000 jobs in the informal sector in the state. According to the party, the jobs will be created through the provision of grants, single-digit loans, training and other support services to the informal sector. This is contained in a statement jointly signed by the governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the party, Hon. Akeem Olayiwola and Dr Benneth Eze, and made available to SaharaReporters on Sunday.
The African Action Congress (AAC), Lagos State Chapter, on Saturday unveiled Akeem Olayiwola and Ben Eze as its governorship and deputy governorship candidates in the 2023 general elections. The candidates and those vying for legislative seats were also unveiled at the event which took place in Ikeja, the Lagos State capital. The governorship candidate meanwhile rolled out his agenda for new Lagos, noting that the present Lagos should not be the Lagos of the future.
