Senator Bola Tinubu, the APC National Leader, says people can no longer reasonably question the role of the first lady because it affects all aspects of the society.
Tinubu made the assertion at a book launch in honour of Nigeria`s first lady entitled: “AISHA BUHARI Being Different’’ at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 461page book with 10 chapters is a memoire of the first lady from childhood to date.
“With Aisha Buhari`s achievements, no one can reasonably question the role of a first lady any longer.
Osinbajo was speaking during a public presentation of a Book written by Dr Hajo Sani, titled “Aisha Buhari: Being Different”, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said the first lady has championed and improved access to healthcare for women especially on maternal health with the aim of reducing maternal mortality in rural communities.
“We understand the roots of her relentless pursuit in these past years of the empowerment of women especially through education, the need for young girls to get primary and secondary education before getting marriage,” he said.
The vice president also commended the first lady for expressing her views on issues, especially issues that affect the advancement of women and girls.

The Office of the First Lady of Nigeria, in collaboration with Women and National Development (WAND), an NGO, will on Thursday, April 8, in Abuja stage a public presentation of a book entitled “Aisha Buhari Being Different“. x

National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, will chair the launch of a book written in honour of Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari.
The book titled “Aisha Buhari Being Different” and written by Dr. Hajo Sani, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Women Affairs and Administration (Office of the First Lady), is billed to be launched on April 8, at the Conference Centre, State House, Abuja.

Details from the invitation letters sighted indicated that Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Tony Elumelu, Abdusamad Rabiu, Prince Authur Eze, Hajiya Bola Shagaya and Femi Otedola are among the dignitaries expected to grace the ceremony where Aisha will formally unveil the book.
