Experience suffers data loss for crowdfunded horror game Shibito Magire
Remote backup data also lost.
Shibito Magire. The game is the third entry of the
Spirit Hunter series, funded through a Campfire crowdfunding campaign back in December 2019. The incident happened sometime after the company announced its release date, March 24, 2022, last week.

While the data loss is a big blow to the Experience project, it appears that not everything was lost. One fan said that they’re willing to wait as long as it takes, so long as the developers take care of their health. Chikami replied that the company has some of the data in a separate backup used for recent projects. In any case, Experience managed to avoid the absolute worst-case scenario, but the developers weren’t far from it.
