“In 10 minutes, we will have scored the first goal and that is when Chiefs must forget about everything because the match will be over by then. With attacks by Luis Miquissone, Clatous Chama, and Bernard Morrison, the opponent must collapse.”
Manara also revealed their slogan ahead of the meeting against the Premier Soccer League side in Dar es Salaam.
“We have prepared but to get results we will depend on the feet of Joash Onyango and his company. Do or Die Season Two is our slogan,” he added. “They will not get out of Mkapa Stadium with any meaningful result.
“Even if we are going to promise 100 million dollars, without a 100% fight we will not win at all. We can win by 2-0, 1-0 or 3-0 but that is not what we want. We only need at least a 5-0 scoreline. All this is possible and I will be the last person to believe that we have been eliminated from the Champions League.”
The official added that the huge defeat suffered at the FNB Stadium is a result no one in Africa expected.
“We disappointed our fans especially when we knew the whole of Africa was waiting for a draw, a win or a loss but of a smaller margin than it was. Therefore, we know we have a huge task ahead of overturning the loss suffered,” he added.
Simba information officer Haji Manara has since stated they had lost to the better team on the matchday and admitted his team’s display was poor and sloppy, coupled with many silly mistakes.
“We have lost to a team who were the best of the day,” Manara wrote on his social media pages. “We have played a very poor game and did not deserve to get anything from the game.
“We committed very many silly mistakes which deserved the humiliation we have received in Johannesburg but life must go on, we also have another 90 minutes to decide the destiny of the game in the return leg.”
