Florida building collapse toll rises to 24 dead

The death toll from a building collapse in Miami, Florida, United States has risen to 24, while 124 people remain missing.
“Rescue teams managed to dig up two more bodies under the rubble of the recently collapsed building in Florida, bringing the death toll to 24,” Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said on Saturday. In addition, 124 people are still missing.
Levin Cava also announced the signing of a decree authorizing the demolition of part of the building that still exists, as it poses a threat to public safety, especially with the approach of tropical storm “Elsa” in the region.
