10,000 people maybe more announcer: from abc news, this is world news now. good friday morning, everybody. i m john muller. tai is here for diana perez. good to be here and good to celebrate friday with everyone. happy friday. we re going to begin this busy travel friday with a change that would affect every air traveler. airplanes could soon get a lot louder. the government will consider a plan to allow in-flight cell phone calls. as you might imagine, some airlines and passengers wasted no time weighing in. reporter: a ban in place 22 years no cell phone calls until you touch down. next week the fcc will meet to discuss changing the policy. i think the pros are that you could be more in touch in in the air. if you remember, they used to have old phones built in the back of the seat. the cons is people would be on the phone and it would be really loud and disruptive to the flight. reporter: that s exactly why the major flight attendants union is against it. lou
