PROVO, Utah Coming off of two mid-week wins against in-state teams, BYU softball resumes West Coast Conference play with a three-game series against San Diego.
The Cougars (25-13, 4-2 WCC) and Toreros will play a doubleheader on Friday evening beginning at 5 p.m. MDT. Saturday’s game three is set to start at Noon after being moved up from 1 p.m. earlier in the week.
PROVO, Utah BYU softball held No. 5 Stanford to just five hits and one run on Monday afternoon at Gail Miller Field but ultimately lost 1-0 in a defensive showcase.

BATON ROUGE, La. BYU softball weathered a comeback attempt as it beat Louisiana Tech, 5-3 in game one of a doubleheader in the Purple and Gold Challenge at Tiger Park on Friday afternoon.

The Cougars went up 4-0 after the first two innings before scoring an insurance run in the sixth. BYU tallied six hits to Louisiana Tech’s five and also benefitted from one La. Tech error.

PROVO, Utah After having three canceled games last week against Utah State and Idaho State, BYU softball will make the drive south to St. George to take on Utah Tech on Monday, March 27 at 4 p.m. MDT.
