On Saturday, May 13 Veranda L Ni, Cleveland s tallest drag entertainer will read a selection of stories to the group and lead sing-alongs that share messages of love and inclusivity at the Near West Theatre. The program welcoming ages 3 to 8 and their families is drawing attention of Nazi groups in Ohio. Several chat groups entitled Call2Action Ohio on Telegram are calling group members to pull up outside the Near West Theatre and protest against the event. These groups have been involved in several rallies against LGBTQ community in Ohio. A flyer titled Pedophile Story Hour Protest has been circulating in several Neo-Nazi and far right telegram groups for weeks. The demonstrators will carry and hold signs that say Go choke you sick freaks, Groomers go home and This is not art; this is evil.,etc.
