HURIWA threatens to drag Buhari to court over alleged killing of ESN operatives by Nigerian army

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria, HURIWA, has threatened to drag President Muhammadu Buhari to International Court over the alleged killing of members of the Eastern Security Network, which was established by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to check the incessant crisis between the killer herdsmen and the farmers in the region. HURIWA accused the Nigerian Army and the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma of planning to crush the ESN from the region to pave way for the Fulani herders. In a statement forwarded to DAILY POST on Tuesday, the Rights group urged President Buhari to Immediately arrest the spokesman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association for publicly threatening to launch attacks on the Igbos.

The Kano State Governor Umar Abdullahi Ganduje has decried the dirty condition of the state in his administration’s move for a Mega City development. The Governor was speaking on the backdrop of poor waste management, the challenge it poses and the need for a sustainable solution to refuse for Kano city. Ganduje said the state has been deliberating on a Mega-City development project but the challenge of waste management has hampered the dream of achieving it. He said the effect of poor waste management was all over Kano, leading to devastating health conditions such as cancer and similar health complications, costing the government huge sums of money.

Daily Post Nigeria Published The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi has alerted the public that he is not looking for a wife in the public domain. A press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Oluwo, Alli Ibraheem and obtained by DAILY POST said the notice became necessary following series of reports by some women who fell into the hands of scammers using the Oluwo’s name.
