Northern Ireland housebuilder Hagan Homes has said the outlook for the sector is good as it launched it a £3.25m development in Co Tyrone.
The Ballyclare-based firm is building 32 two-bed apartments at Old School Court in Strabane - creating 38 new jobs.
The development is aimed at first-time buyers, with prices at around £105,000.
Jim Burke, the company s director of sales and acquisitions, said it was seeing steady growth in the market, and that the outlook for the sector was positive. The number of homebuyer enquiries and show home viewing requests are on the rise.
But he said there was a fairly limited supply of resale stock. We believe this could be driving more potential homebuyers to choose new-build homes instead.
