Abid Salik has taken on the role following the sad death of his dad Hafiz last year
It was a decision Abid Salik agonised over but he felt he had unfinished business in Hull.
Having spent a decade building up the Muslim community around the York mosque, Abid had invested so much to make the historic city his home.
But the tragic and sudden loss of his dad Hafiz Salik last year has seen Abid return home.
