Stuart Beckley and Alan Wolf finalists for South Hadley town administrator

SOUTH HADLEY The finalists to be the next town administrator here are Ware Town Manager Stuart Beckley and Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz’s chief of staff, Alan Wolf.
Of 20 that applied for the South Hadley town administrator position, four finalists were selected; two subsequently removed themselves from consideration.
South Hadley Town Administrator Michael Sullivan will retire in June.
During Tuesday’s meeting, Selectboard member Sarah Etelman asked the consultant hired to oversee the search process why one of the finalists did not possess any actual experience in the role of a town administrator, as the board had said they wanted in the pool of finalists.
