A Google account is basically a must if you want to seamlessly use an Android phone (unless you’re living that Google-free life). The account allows you to download apps from the Play Store, back up your photos to the cloud, use Google Drive for storage, and much more.
We’ve also seen Android manufacturers allow you to log into an OEM account on their devices too. For example, Samsung users can log into their Samsung accounts, people with Xiaomi devices can log into their Mi accounts, and those with Huawei devices have a Huawei ID.

Smartphones these days do so much more than just make and receive calls. Most of us escape into our phones for instant messaging, media consumption, surfing the web, or just aimlessly scrolling through social media. But when a call actually comes through, does your phone ring?
We recently conducted a poll on our website asking our readers about their preferred sound profile on their phones. Here’s are the results of that poll.
What sound profile do you primarily use on your phone?
Results
As you can see from the chart above, most of our readers 48.3% of the 1,426 respondents prefer to keep their phones on ringing mode.
Poll: Do you keep auto-rotate enabled on your phone?

Auto-rotation is one of the more long-standing features on smartphones today, allowing phones to automatically shift apps and menus between portrait and landscape orientation as the device is turned accordingly.
Many smartphones include an auto-rotate toggle in the quick settings section of the notification shade (as seen above), allowing you to activate or deactivate auto-rotate at the drop of a hat. But do you keep auto-rotate enabled on your phone? Let us know via the poll at the bottom of the page.
We’re specifically talking about whether you use the system-wide auto-rotate toggle in the notification shade or in the settings menu. So if your phone is only set to auto-rotate when viewing pictures and videos, you can vote “no.”
A new rumor points to Samsung adopting a continuous zoom camera for the S22 Ultra.
This would allow for a variety of zoom factors and consistent quality with one camera.
The source also claims Samsung will bring an under-display selfie camera and AMD GPU to the phone.
Samsung is inevitably working on the Galaxy S22 series, as the company has offered a Galaxy S flagship in the first half of each year for ages now. This year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra follows in Huawei’s footsteps by offering two telephoto cameras (3X and 10X), but a new rumor points to Samsung upping the ante in a big way.
