The apartment is the costliest in the lottery. In compliance with the MHADA Act, 2 percent of the total homes sold in the lottery were reserved for MPs and MLAs.
Union minister Bhagwat Karad had also applied for the purchase of the costliest apartment. About 4,082 homes, mostly affordable, were up for sale under the lottery.
The apartments are priced in the range of Rs 24 lakh to Rs 7.57 crore, with the cheapest apartment being in Chandivali, near Powai, and the costliest in Tardeo, South Mumbai.
