Hack the Capitol returns Tuesday, as all eyes look toward critical infrastructure security
Hack the Capitol is the yearly stand-alone event from ICS Village, a touring industrial security education group most often seen bringing hands-on control systems demonstrations to security conferences. The annual event returns on Tuesday for a virtual presentation, including keynotes from Reps. Robert Whitman, John Katko, Yvette Clark and Ted Lieu, and panelists spanning academia, industry, security, insurance and major industrial equipment manufacturers.

The Office of Management and Budget and General Services Administration will also prioritize projects addressing critical IT modernization, public-facing services and cross-agency programs. “We plan to use these resources to enable the federal government to better respond to SolarWinds, the covid-19 crisis and support the economic recovery,” said federal Chief Information Officer Clare Martorana.
