According to Health ministry, India is at low risk from both the avian influenza case reported in China as well as the clusters of respiratory illness. India, the ministry added, is prepared for any kind of exigency that may emerge from the current influenza situation in China.
This comes after the World Health Organization asked China for more information about an increase in respiratory illnesses and pneumonia cases among children.
