Hello, everyone. Im dana perino and this is the daily briefing. A federal grand jury delivering those indictments all charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States. Tin tkaoeugtment alleges that the russian conspirators wanted to promote discord in the United States and under mind Public Confidence in democracy. We must not allow them to succeed. The Department Of Justice will continue to work cooperatively with other Law Enforcement and intelligence agencies and with congress to defend our nation

here s what that may mean. it s the first week we have not had any increases in influ went sa activity. that may indicate the season is peaking. we don t know exactly yet. we do know seasons have lasted as long as 20 weeks. we re at week 12 now, so there s still a fair amount of influenza disease for the next eight weeks or so. because of the time frame, officials are asking people to get a flu shot. it is only 25% effective against the dominant h3n2 strain overall. however, when you look at children alone, the vaccine is much more effective, reducing their chances of getting sick by 51%. vaccine offers better protection against other strains that are increasing in circulation. so in the remaining weeks of this flu season, doctors are saying go out and get that flu
