Korean barbecue? Chances are you’ve been doing it wrong. Or rather, you’re doing it local style, which is fine, but we say you are missing out. The world of gogikui, or Korean barbecue, is a fluid and evolving one, so although there are no hard and fast rules, we checked in with Grace Ryu of Frolic Hawai‘i, our digital dining voice, for her best tips.
