A SURVEY on the best locations for electric car charging points in Gwynedd has been launched. Gwynedd Council is asking residents about the locations where they feel the charging points should be located as it plans to install a number of stations across the county. Cllr Gareth Griffith, Gwynedd Council’s Cabinet Member for Environment, said: “Gwynedd Council wants to make it easier for residents to change from petrol and diesel vehicles by providing more electric car charging points through-out the county. “As a council, we’ve reduced our carbon emissions by 47 per cent since 2006. This exciting development of installing charging points builds on this positive work and is an important step towards our commitment to tackling climate change.
