The Gwinnett County Public School System is considering how and when all students can return to in-person class safely.
According to the Gwinnett Daily Post, on Friday the county school board met virtually with members of Gwinnett County’s state House delegation to review education-related issues. During this conversation, superintendent J. Alvin Wilbanks discussed all students returning to the classroom this fall.
Wilbanks is hoping to revert back to a normal, in-person format this fall, however, he says that if conditions are not conducive to doing so safely, they will continue to adjust, and readjust, to the situation as needed. The Gwinnett Daily post says that he is hoping, however, that the vaccine will work enough to make everyone feel confident in returning all students to school.
