BRUNSWICK Elizabeth Putnam scored three goals and had an assist to lead Brunswick past Morse 14-3 in girls lacrosse action Thursday.
Gia Guernelli had three goals and Kiki Densmore and Emily Cloutier each added two goals for the Dragons (6-3). Gwen Thom and Ella Gustafson each added one.
Mary LaRochelle paced Morse (2-7) with two goals and an assist, while Althea Rogenes added the other goal. Olivia Chabot made eight saves.

SACO Izzy White scored four goals and Thornton Academy held off Cheverus for an 11-9 girls’ lacrosse win on Monday.
Morgan Bolduc and Hazel Stoddard each scored twice for Thornton Academy (2-1). Emma Boissonneault, Abby Brown and Grace Veroneau all had one goal.
Riley O’Mara led Cheverus (1-2) with five goals. Neve Cawley made 16 saves in net.
NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 14, GARDINER 6: Emma Sharpe had six goals and an assist, Lilly Weinrich added five and three assists and the Panthers (2-1) controlled the game defensively and came out with a win over the Tigers (1-1) in Gardiner.

BATH The term ‘a tale of two halves’ was on display on Saturday. After a back-and-forth first half that saw just a one goal difference at halftime, the Brunswick girls lacrosse team stepped up its game and didn’t look back in the second, coasting to a 14-6 victory over Morse on a sunny afternoon at McMann Field in Bath.
