Essence & Form Winter Exhibit will showcase works of art by Gwen Norsworthy, Christine Bailey and Janet Maines. "Capturing the Essence of a subject seems to be the purview of abstract art, while we expect figurative art to depict the Form. But why set such limitations? In this sampling of works by three fine artists, we explore how portraiture can allow the spirit of its subject to shine through any media, and abstract art can render the form of an object – or even light – down to its finest detail."
