Adver readers aren t worried about Covid vaccine side effects

Adver readers have shown they re not concerned about potential side effects of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid vaccines. Last week a list of 13 potential side effects you could get after getting your jab was published and included tiredness and headaches being the most common at potentially one in every 10 people. The rarest side effect was temporary one sided facial dropping which could only impact one in 1,000 people. The leaflet that published the side effects is given to people before getting the jab and it recommends pregnant or breast-feeding women should speak to their doctor first and children under 16 should not get the jab.

WHAT YOU SAID: Readers want NHS pay rise rather than weekly clap for heroes

Founder Annemarie Plas confirmed on Twitter that it would return at 8pm under the new name. The clap ran for 10 weeks during the first lockdown and quickly became a national tradition. Millions of people across the UK lined their thresholds, gathered on pavements, and stood in their gardens to support care staff and frontline workers. Members of the royal family and Prime Minister Boris Johnson also joined in with the show of support. But Adver readers weren t keen on the gesture returning with a poll of 652 readers saying 69 per cent would not be clapping. 17 per cent said they would definitely clap with the remaining 14 per cent being unsure.
